This tender invites qualified and registered contractors to bid for the construction of 500 affordable housing units under the Boma Yangu programme at the Mavoko site, Machakos County. Scope of works includes civil and structural construction, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) installations, external works (roads, drainage, landscaping), and associated site infrastructure. Bidders must be registered with the National Construction Authority (NCA) at the appropriate category and demonstrate prior experience delivering projects of similar scale within the last five years.

The State Department of Housing and Urban Development invites Expressions of Interest from sitting tenants and other qualified members of the public for the purchase of government-owned residential houses located in Nairobi (Lang'ata, Ngara, and Kibera) and Nakuru counties. Priority consideration will be given to long-serving sitting tenants in good standing, in line with the government's asset disposal policy for surplus and non-strategic residential property. RFP/HUD/003/2024 — RFP/HUD/003/2024 — Provision of Facility Management Services — Government Estates
The department seeks proposals from qualified facility management firms to provide maintenance, security, cleaning, and estate management services across government housing estates in Nairobi. The successful firm will be responsible for routine and preventive maintenance, tenant liaison, rent collection support, security coordination, and grounds upkeep across multiple estate sites under a performance-based contract. Firms must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience managing residential or mixed-use estates of comparable scale, along with valid registration and tax compliance certificates.
